# Close the books

The skill starts the close for the month you name, reads what is holding it open, and clears the blockers one at a time with you. It shows the state before every step and asks first for anything that reaches out. It never locks the period itself: that approval is yours to click in Well.

This skill writes data rather than only reporting on it. It shows you what it will do, and changes nothing until you confirm.
